How the UN is supporting The Sustainable Development Goals in Eritrea

The UN Partnership with the government has been catalytic in many ways: from accelerating the country’s drive towards achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development to engendering concrete results for the people of Eritrea. Government and the UN system have been collaborating on a wide array of development priorities including Inclusive Growth, Food Security and Livelihood and Public Sector Capacity Development, Health and Nutrition; Water, Sanitation and Hygiene; Basic Education; Child/Social Protection; Environmental Sustainability, Resilience and Disaster Risk Management as well as on Gender and Youth Empowerment. The UN commits to accelerating its system-wide effective and coherent support to the achievement of development results for the remainder of the current SPCF.
